This is where we come in, we use our combined 27 years’ experience in banking and finance to deal with the banks entirely on your behalf and manage their expectations and requirements, we understand all the jargon they use in what can almost seems like a foreign language.

Our sole purpose is you; we pride ourselves on putting the power back into your hands and we do this by finding the most suitable loan option to suit your needs. This isn’t one size fits all, we look at over 30 loan providers and hundreds of products to find that one that fits with you. We then prepare and present your loan application to the bank and work closely with them to get an efficient outcome for you. Not only do we get it, but we get it done.

Our work does not stop there, we are focused on building long-term relationships with you and will manage your loan and finance position regularly to ensure you are always getting what you deserve and to keep the banks on their toes.   • Director

    Walter has 9 years’ experience in the finance industry where he has held executive mortgage positions with 2 of Australia’s largest banks. He knows the intricacies of the loan application process and can filter through the bank jargon to help his clients make clear and informed decisions on their future. He prides himself on simplifying the process and providing clear direction for his clients by directly managing the bank and their requirements. He is very approachable and has extensive experience assisting everyone from first home buyer building their first home, investors, property upsizing or downsizing, self-employed clients and working with complex entity structures.

    Known as Wally, he is a loving husband, father and published author along with his beautiful wife. When he is not working he exploring our beautiful state with his family, spending time either on or in the ocean or trying his hand at yet another DIY project around the house.

    Wally has a combined Bachelor of Business and Science degree at University of Tasmania, a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and is member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA).

 
 


  • Director

    Ben has over 18 years of finance experience and has worked across all levels of personal banking from teller, home lender and most recently in senior management. He knows the tricks of the trade and he understands the frustrations that most people have when dealing with their bank. This experience has driven him to start Walmac Finance where he is very active helping his clients get the most out of their banking and put the power back into their control.

    On a personal note Ben has completed numerous property developments himself, he understands the complex nature of small business and firsthand experience managing a Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) and owning and managing commercial property.

    Ben is a loving husband, father, volunteer board member and when he is not working he is actively involved in local sporting clubs, hitting the golf course or spending time on Tasmania’s East Coast with his family.

    Ben has a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, is working on his Masters of Business Administration and is member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA).
